Are You a Spam-a-lot?

Here are simple rules to advertise your business:

DONT! Use email extraction software to get emails to send your advertisement to.
You will be accused of SPAM!!!

DONT! Buy any kind of email lists (even if offer looks legit, almost all ready-to-advertise-to lists consist of 85% email addresses for people who never ask to be on any list).
You will be accused of SPAM!!!

DONT! Purchase any solo ads from companies who can’t prove that their lists have opt-in members.
You will be accused of SPAM!!!

DONT! Use “Spam Friendly” or misleading headline/subject such as Re:, Notification of Payment Received, You Got Commission, URGENT!!! etc. Avoid using all capital letters.
You will be accused of SPAM!!!

DONT! Use following ‘Subjects’ in your promotional emails:

* RE: or re:
* Fwd:
* PayPal has cancelled your account
* URGENT
* Your account has been cancelled / deactivated / terminated
* From admin
* Notification of payment received
* I read your ad / I saw your ad

These are misleading & very unprofessional.

Remember this, if you are caught spamming you could jeopardize your credibility and trust me, these things never pay off in the long run.
