Are You Holding Your Success Hostage?

I’ve been beaten up by it in my own life.

More times then I want to tell you.

Every time I get ‘there’, my energy plummets, my enthusiasm
falls, and attitude sinks.

IDLENESS.

I just searched the definition of idleness online, here’s
what I got.

a. Not employed or busy: idle carpenters. See Synonyms at
inactive.
b. Avoiding work or employment; lazy: shiftless, idle youth.
See Synonyms at lazy.
c. Not in use or operation: idle hands.

Let me tell you how I’ve sunk into idleness in my career.

Seeking perfection.

Yes, the more I seek perfection, the more I sat on my hands.

The more I seek perfection, the more IDLE I became.

I see it practically everyday in people.

Seeking PERFECTION destroys personal growth.

As it destroys personal growth, it DESTROYS business growth.

Both are linked. You know that.

More on idleness. Read this.

“No idle person is ever safe, whether he be rich or poor,
white or black, educated or illiterate.” - Booker T Washington

“Trouble springs from idleness.” - Benjamin Franklin

Tape this on your computer, write it on your bathroom mirror,
and carry it around on an index card, whatever works for you.

***You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it
going.

Get going. This is the answer to breaking the chains of
idleness.

This is the answer to you unleashing your God given gifts and
talents.

How can you live in joy if your labor is one of frustration
and stagnation?

You weren’t born to be ruled. You were born to rule. Period.

Idleness is a trap.

You enter it with good intentions and then it slowly holds
you hostage.

There’s a seed of success within your grasp right now. Find
it, plant it, profit from it.

Come on, you CAN DO IT.
