Some people think that an entrepreneur is a mysterious entity that only a select few will ever become.  In some cases, many opportunities have kept up that pretense.  A pretense that would have you paying and paying and paying to run around in a circle and get nowhere.

So you are beginning to think about starting a home based business.  You keep reading about all the money everyone is making and you are thinking…”I want a piece of that pie”.  Good for you, it is an awesome way to make a living.  I do and I love it. 

Okay, a word to the wise….before you sink time and money into this and lose every friend you have, take it from me……  If you are a newbie, you will need some help.  You will need a quite few things but let’s start with the obvious and work our way through.  More importantly if you are someone who has been struggling for a while and no matter what you do, even following all the things you have been told to do, you are still not making money, then you are in the right place at exactly the right time..

What is happening in most cases is you are being sold on the concept that it is easy to make a six figure or more income working from home.  That all you have to do is wake up in the morning and millions of people will be purchasing from you.  You have been sold on the idea that if you fail, it is your fault.  You have been sold on the concept that you will have support throughout the process to help you achieve success and find out that as soon as your money has exchanged hands, you are left alone to struggle.

Does any of this sound remotely familiar?  I know, been there done that.  You are in luck, there is a solution.

You are going to need to have a clear idea of what this will entaIl and by that I mean……

• Do you have the money to fund a home business?  What is the actual start-up cost?  Trust me it isn’t just the product purchase.  You will need advertising, miscellaneous costs, system charges, etc.
• Will you even have the time to dedicate to building your business?  No less than 10 - 20 hours a week and starting off, it will be way more.  If someone is telling you less than that, hang up and run for the hills.
• Do you have any experience in marketing either on or off-line?  Don’t depend on the so-called easy systems, they WILL NOT get you leads. They may have you purchase theirs but that is usually only making your up-line or the lead company money.  Don’t buy if you don’t know the quality personally.  By this I mean you should be working at generating your own leads and I don’t mean friends and family!
• You will need a mentor that actually has your best interests at heart and will help you succeed; not just take your money and run.
• You will need to find an opportunity or product that you can “sell”.  That means something that you believe in, not something someone talked you into.  Beware my friends, there are some pretty good sales people out there ready to pounce on you.  And before you cry scam, remember this….It Is BUYER BEWARE!  Do your due diligence and if you get that “tonight only” offer, once again… run, run away!  They are relying on impulse buying.  There are federal and state laws that protect you so if you do run into a shark, make sure you know your rights to cancel.  Never give anyone your credit card number unless it is a secure site and you know what you are purchasing!

These are a few danger zone that you need to consider.  I am telling you this because I got fed up with all the lies and untruths, the hyped up crap that is everywhere on the net and decided to do something about it.  Oh, I know, there are some legitimate offers our there, I have a handful that are making me excellent cash each and every month.  But I will tell you I ate a ton of lemons before I got here and hopefully this will help you to not follow those steps to financial ruin and misery!
